Prof. Shuguang Li was recently elected to be a Geochemical Fellow of the Geochemical Society and the European Association of Geochemistry! The reward is bestowed upon outstanding geochemistists who have, over decades, made a major contribution to the field of geochemistry. Congratulations, Prof. Li!
Prof. Shuguang Li, Geochemical Professor, graduated from geochemistry division of University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) in 1965, and worked at the USTC as a teacher during the period of 1965 to 2012. In 2012, he moved from USTC to China University of Geosciences in Beijing (CUGB) where he built high quality brand-new isotopes geochemistry labs.
Prof. Shuguang Li has been announced as a Geochemical Fellow by the Geochemical Society and the European Association of Geochemistry.
The European Association of Geochemistry (EAG) was officially established in 1985 with the goal of promoting geochemistry internationally and in particular providing a forum for the presentation of geochemistry, exchange of ideas, publications and recognition of scientific excellence. And the Geochemical Society is a nonprofit scientific society founded to encourage the application of geochemistry to improving our understanding of the Earth and solar system.
The newly elected Geochemical Fellows will receive their honor at the 2019 Goldschmidt Conference in August, 2019 in Barcelona, Spain.
